Masayuki Aoshima has been appointed Chef of the Italian restaurant, Splendido.
He trained for approximately four and a half years in Italian regions such as Lombardy, Liguria, and Piedmont. During that time, he traveled through nearly all of Italy's 20 regions on his own, studying the country's food culture and regional cuisine.
Having built a career that values the fundamentals, the experience Aoshima aims to deliver is 'straightforward cuisine.'
