In October 2023, Natale Alessio La Barbera, a native of Sicily, Italy, was appointed Executive Chef of Splendido.
From the age of five, Alessio was captivated by his grandmother's cooking, helping in the kitchen as part of his daily life. For him, family gatherings centered around food were moments of pure joy. Inspired by the magical way memories and emotions intertwine with culinary creations, he set his heart on becoming a chef.
At Splendido, Chef Alessio skillfully incorporates Japanese culture and ingredients into his creations. From fresh buffets and course menus to signature à la carte dishes such as appetizers, pasta, and main courses, he offers a diverse and unforgettable dining experience.
